Loved it and will be back. The hotel was trendy boutique, spent my time lovely here. Had a neat and exceptional room and a sensational breakfast for my needs. The location of the property was remote, near to other pubs and the restaurant. And it was just 1 km from Teston Bridge.

Couple seeks a unique dining experience

The food was very nice, particularly the lamb roast, perfectly cooked with no fatty bits. The staff were attentive, it was a refreshing change.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable.

Had a lovely stay with my partner in a king room, complete with a comfy bed and a refreshing bath that felt like a spa day. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden area and soaking up the sun on the terrace while sipping coffee. Just a tiny downside was the lack of drawers in the room, but no biggie! 😊

The Tickled Trout really hit it outta the park with their delicious meals, particularly the Sunday roast which was a proper treat! The room was a cozy double, perfect for recharging after a busy day of exploring Maidstone.

We visited a local winery and enjoyed the adventure playground nearby. The room was spacious and the food was delicious, especially breakfast at 8am. Definitely worth staying for a leisurely morning.

One downside was the limited menu options. We were disappointed to find out that many items weren't available, including cocktails that we were looking forward to.

Cozy stay with fab breakfast!

Spent a night here and loved it! The staff were super friendly. The king room was comfy, and breakfast blew my mind-best ever! Just a bummer we couldn't try dinner 'cause we got there late. Bar area looked chill though!

I stayed in a Double Room and it was super comfy! The decor was lovely with a nice mix of modern and traditional vibes. The bed was huge, perfect for a good night's sleep. Plus, I had a cozy seating area with a nice view, made relaxing after a day out really enjoyable. Only downside was the road noise in the morning, but overall a great room experience!

Pricing for breakfast came as a surprise, significantly higher than advertised-charging £40 instead of the expected £10. The breakfast menu lacked flexibility, with only standard-sized meals available, limiting options seeking lighter fare. The room had limited space for personal belongings, which could be an issue for longer stays.

The Tickled Trout offered us a wonderful stay. Our King Room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a cozy seating area with a good view. The breakfast was excellent, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. Plus, the staff, especially Mark and Bev, were friendly and accommodating.

Nice stay with delicious food

The room was spacious and comfy with a tv and nice shower. Bottled water was provided, and I enjoyed good coffee in the room. The staff were attentive and the breakfast was generous, especially the full English. I appreciated the lovely view from the outdoor terrace. Parking was convenient too.
